About me

I've been into computers since primary school — I've built every PC I've ever owned myself. Building, configuring, and running PCs, running a home data store on OpenMediaVault, exploring what Linux can do, or automating solar-heated pool filtration — that's what I do for fun, as a hobby. I'm not an IT professional or a sysadmin by trade; I picked up OpenMediaVault, and by extension Cloudflare and Tailscale, gradually — partly for study reasons, but also because I enjoy exploring what Linux distributions can do, and building my own solution is a challenge I like taking on.

Most of what I know came from trial and error, with substantial help from ChatGPT (and now Claude and Gemini too) — which is why the site mentions that here and there. I don't run this site to claim I do things "the right way," but to show a real, working setup from one enthusiast, and hopefully save some time for anyone working through similar questions.
